I don’t care if you’re not a Demi fan, you need to listen to Warrior it is a great recovery song. It had me in tears.
I have never heard this song before yesterday when I listened to Demi’s cover. I am in love, it is so beautiful. This song speaks so much to me, Demi is my angel, she has guided me so much. Demi has changed my life so much, I wish I could tell her personally how much she has made me a better person. Not only was this song so personal to me, the fact it is dedicated to those involved in the shootings in Newtown makes it even more emotional. I was in tears when I first listened to it, and I have had it on repeat all day.
My story is a funny one; for many you helped them seek help and recovery from their problems. But for me, when I saw your first interview after the treatment centre, you made me realise I needed to let my walls down and start to live.
I’m watching Demi’s Stay Strong documentary and restraining myself from crying. I love you so much Demi.
Demi,
You have made this year tonnes easier for me. You taught me to stay strong and realise that it is going to be okay. Your music helped me int he darkest times and made me feel not alone. You were there for me, thank you Demi.

I have never been one of the skinniest and know I probably never will be a size 8/10. But that’s okay. Because I am learning to love my self more, and of course I have ‘blah’ days, but who doesn’t?
I have always been a fan of Demi Lovato, but after she came out of the treatment center and started showing her support for girls having healthy and realistic role models is when I realised she is my role model. My inspiration to not fall for the pressures to be perfect which are put on everybody.
She has shown me to embrace my body; and that it doesn’t matter what shape you are. Not only has she done this, but Demi is also speaking out about bully which everybody either has been a victim of or known somebody who was at one point. I think it is so important for young teens to have somebody like Demi speaking making a stand against bullying and pressures on society to look a certain way.
So I thank you Demi, for being my inspiration.

Why don’t you submit me your story of who inspires you? xx
